GOODWILL BIG BEND IS NOW TAKING CAR DONATIONS!
Goodwill Industries is now taking car donations! If you want to donate a car, the first thing you will need is the title. We'll gladly accept the car no matter what the condition! Running or not. Free Towing and Pickup. And you can deduct the sales price from your income tax. For details, call John at 850-656-8000
The Goodwill Auto Sales lot is at 2800 West Tennessee Street...just before the Blountstown Highway Overpass.
Cars are sold "As Is" but your welcome to come out and check them out and bring anyone along with you to check them out.
All sales are Cash Only. No financing. No holding vehicles. We are a full service dealer so we collect all the appropriate fees, including sales tax, license and title fees. You will need a drivers license and insurance coverage as required.
All prices on website subject to change.
IF YOU WANT TO DONATE YOUR CAR TO GOODWILL...
I always ask people to call me when they have the Title in their hands so we can get some numbers off the title and tell you where to sign it. Then we'll arrange for a tow truck to come up, usually the same day or the next day. You can be there when the truck comes, but don't have to be there if you don't want to be.
When the car arrives at our lot, I will mail you out a Donation Receipt letter which also describes the way the IRS handles car donations. Basically you get to deduct a minimum of $500 or a maximum of whatever the car sells for. If we do sell the car for more than $500, you'll get a follow up letter and the IRS form.
It doesn't matter what shape the car is in...or if it runs. We get all kinds of cars...including some very nice late model cars.
WHERE DOES THE MONEY FROM THE CAR SALES GO?
People sometimes ask where the money from the car sales go to...and as part of Goodwill Big Bend it goes back into our local communities by providing Job Training, Education, Employment and Housing to People with Disabilities and Other Barriers To Employment.
